Now thru April 30th, you can nominate a deserving teacher serving grades K-12 to throw out the first pitch at the Friday, May 9th Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres game at Coors Field! to highlight Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-11). One outstanding teacher will be selected to: Throw the ceremonial first pitch before the game Receive four (4) free game tickets to enjoy the night with family and friends Let’s give a teacher the recognition they deserve — nominate someone who’s made a difference in your life! Who Can Be Nominated: K–12 educators from any Colorado school district Who Can Nominate: Students, colleagues, friends, family members — or teachers may nominate themselves! How It Works A committee of Westerra employees will review all nominations, and the winning teacher will be selected on or around May 2, 2025.
